Skipping
Ideal for: Terms 1, 2, 3 & 4
Designed for:
Schools who want to improve and promote cardiovascular health, physical activity and coordination for their students.
Program overview
The ZING Activ skipping program teaches children the fundamental movement skills to skip and progresses to intermediate and advanced tricks. By participating in our lessons, students learn to skip by themselves, with a partner and in a group.
Our skipping program is aligned to the ‘HPE Australian curriculum’ along with the ‘PDHPE NSW Syllabus’. All outcomes covered can be found further on this page.
The art of skipping is an underrated skill that we’ve brought back into school playgrounds. With so many tricks to teach and music in every lesson, schools are seeing “skipping fever” take over their playground on lunch breaks!
